3. Look into your radiator to check if coolant is flowing through it. After 10-20 minutes pass, keep your head at least 1-2 feet (30-61 cm) away and look down into the radiator where you removed the cap to check on the coolant. As the engine heats up, the thermostat should open up and allow the coolant to flow from the radiator to the engine.
4. Location: Finland. Model: Chrysler PT Cruiser. Posted 3 September, 2018 (edited) several times I try to find radiator fan relay (control unit) but I can't find it. Please let me know Fan is running all the time if the fuse is connected. Edited 3 September, 2018 by OH1XE.
In addition to checking the coolant level, you need to make sure that the fan near the radiator is working properly. In a traffic jam at an elevated temperature, it may not turn on, which will certainly lead to overheating of the internal combustion engine. I have a skoda octavia facelift vrs 2.0TDI, 170hp, CEGA motion code from 2011.

1. You may have two problems. Even with the cooling fans running all of the time, the engine thermostat should force the engine to warm up at a normal speed. The thermostat will regulate the coolant to the radiator/fans if it is working properly. It can be normal for the cooling fans to run constantly under certain conditions.
Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013) It was 3.9degC with 24degC external. With the fan on 4, I had it down to 15degC in a few minutes and it was still dropping, albeit quite slowly. HTH. It will not improve the cooling capability of the system, just the finesse of temperature control.
In this article, we consider the third-generation Skoda Octavia (5E) before a facelift, produced from 2012 to 2016. Today I have noticed that the DPF warning light has come on. and start-stop is working again. In city driving it takes 4 to 5 days before it needs to regen again. Octavia III VRS @ 75 000km on

hoskurner. Ive had my octavia CR LE now for a couple of months and noticed something odd the other morning. When stopping and switching the car off after an hours driving at 70mph, the fan ran on for about 10mins afterwards. I thought this was strange as the outside temperature was only 4 degress and has never happened before.

If the fan does not work, check the new fuse to be sure it has not blown. If it has blown, contact your mechanic for repairs. If the fuse is OK, but the fan does not work, keep reading… Relay issues. Bad relay: The relay for the radiator fan system is also found in the fuse box. The radiator fan relay controls the delivery of power to the fan
Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020) Fan noise staying on after ignition is turned off. When I came to turn my car off after driving home from work some sort of fan stayed on. Test the fan motor. Connect the motor directly to 12-volt power with jumper wires to see if the fan spins properly. If it doesn't, the motor is likely burnt out. Check the coolant temperature sensor. A signal from the coolant temperature sensor is what triggers the ECU to turn on the radiator fan, and if it's faulty, it can prevent the fan

To bleed the system take the radiator cap off and turn the heat temperature all the way hot. Then start the car and let it get to operating temperature and then top off the coolant in the radiator and the reservoir. Then replace the cap and take for a test drive. If this does not work jack up the car in the rear while the heater and engine run.
